You can help isolate the problem by going to the underhood fuse block. Find the 'crank relay 43' and remove it. Use a piece of wire or a paper clip and insert the ends into the two terminals that would be at the 5 and 11 o'clock positions (or lower right and upper left) The other two terminals are at 1 and 7 o'clock. This will put 12 volts directly to the starter. I have a pushbutton with terminals that plug into these relay terminals that I use for variuos reasons when I need to crank the engine without wanting to have it start.

I pulled the #43 relay and used the jumper wire and the starter turn. I went out and bought a new replay switch and it didn't help at all the same problem. Any ideas.

I've had this happen a few times. I found it was usually when my cell phone was in the same pocket or very close to my FOB that it happened. When it does happen, I simply move my phone somewhere else and then it starts.
I'm thinking the phone is somehow interfering with the signal from the FOB.

Page 2-5 in my Owners Manual under decrease in remote keyless entry transmitter range it lists interference from electronic devices such as cell phones or lap top PCs.
I think if this is the problem you would receive a DIC warning NO FOBS DETECTED when you attempted to start the car.
If it is a FOB related problem and not a starter circuit problem you could test by placing the FOB in the glove box pocket and see if it will start.
I had the same problem. Sometimes the gauges would sweep, sometimes they wouldn't. It would eventually start. When it started, it fired right up. A new battery seems to have resolved my issue.

Sorry about the reply time. I found out that my shifter linkage cable connector the one in the console had broken off and the car was still in drive (transmission) but the shift **** was showing it being in park, so it wouldn't start. The weird thing is when I use the replay box to using a jumper wire the car actually started and the engine was running. Thank God I had all the wheels chocked and the hand break pulled. I was all under the car at one time trying to use a screw driver on the starter solenoid glad I couldn’t get to it.
