you were dang close buddy! maybe Gary can chime in but I think the DA was close to zero around noon. my prediction was 9.48 with a 1.25-60'..... the 60' is what messed up mine coming true..lol
I tried everything from 19psi to 15 psi.. 17 is what was in for the two quick runs.
they are stock heads with the swirl bump ported out and I streamlined the intake guide... Shaved 030 and SS intake and exhaust valves

No one had a handheld weather station this year. I have personally seen DAs off by 600-700 feet when compared to Dragtimes. This is not to infer that the DA was at all bad this day; however, I recollect that it was t-shirt weather in the early afternoon. Without being able to substantiate my opinion, I can only hazard a guess that there may have been a DA that was several hundred feet worse than what would be reported on Dragtimes. (I usually log my passes on my DashDaq and look at the IAT which is usually 0-2 degrees higher than ambient air temp. One can then deduce the actual temp within a 1* accuracy. I made no logs this day.)
Do you know of any inexpensive handheld weather stations. I would like to purchase one without breaking the bank. Thanks.

Kestrel makes a model 4250 that is in the $250 range.
Ranger recommended this one.

I will have one next time out... I usually look at a buddys when I run in Indy.
Nice runs Friday Gary. You really have that thing dialed in!

thanks guys!!!
the 1.22 surprised the heck out of me. I expected a 1.25..... luckily I backed it up with a 1.232 or I might have had difficulty believing it to be accurate.
I said in a post a few weeks back that there was a possibility to squeak into the 5s but it would definitely go 6.0s.
I couldn't be happier of how it ran.
Another big shout out to Rodney @rpm for the r&r help

Gotta love those auto trannys when it comes to having the BEST drag race machine!
EXTRMELY impressive 60 ft, et and trap, especially with stock 3.42 gears and axles, OUTSTANDING!!

He was still here as of last month. I removed my front sway bar. It does help, but not much unless you get stickier tires. Sticky tires are absolutely needed to get decent 60' times. I once ran 315-30-18 Michelin PS2s, and the best 60' I ever got was 1.99!! The sway bar was still on there then. They were 200 treadwear. You really need something with 100 treadwear, or less.......
