C6 Corvette ZR1 & Z06General info about GM’s Corvette Supercar, LS9 Corvette Technical Info, Performance Upgrades, Suspension Setup for Street or Track
Any one have any info on the e85 conversion? Sounds like change injectors, fuel pump and sensors and you can turn it into a flex fuel system and pick up 40 to 60hp.
TuneTime is almost finished with my flex fuel setup on my ZR1. Results should be in next couple of days.
Other then that I know LMR has done 1 for sure.
Let me know how it turns out for you... LMR has done 3 I think, I was hoping to hear from some people who were running it to see if there is a down side? It's sounds like there isn't one! Lol.... I'm currently doing all the standard bolt ons.... What are you running with the E85? As far as mods ?

We did one of our Stage 3 ZR1 packages with E85. It made 40rwhp more than on E10. The LS9 really liked the intercooling effect of the ethanol. All that was needed was an injector change. Stock fuel pump.
It is not flex fuel. You have the completely empty the tank and change calibrations with HP Tuners when switching fuels.
There is no way you pulled that harness far enough out to pin it with the fender liner removed. It barely has enough wiggle room w/ the fender off.
We removed the ecm and were able to pin the tach signal wire without removing the fender, I don't see why we wouldn't be able to pin for the flex fuel.

You need to add a wire to the harness, so you need to pop off the connector and jam a wire into the back. There is no way I'd try it with the fender on, may save you some time, but you may pin the wrong one and fry your ECM.

Yea when we do the flex fuel ill probably just pull the fender off to be safe.
DSX Tuning (DSteck in the forum) converted my 1000hp GS to flex fuel. His flex fuel kit is only $250, plug and play. It's probably one the best things I've done to my car. Its great to be able to run pump gas, E85, or any combination of them without flashing tunes. You won't find E85 all the time available, you will need to run gas sometimes. https://www.facebook.com/DSX.Tuning
