Quote form Ken Fitchner:

Differences:

GMPP is a product of Ally Bank

Chevrolet Protection Plan is a product of General Motors

Chevrolet Protection Plan offers the same coverage as GMPP with these additional benefits:

1) A higher rental car reimbursement rate

2) A higher towing reimbursement rate

3) Coverage for shock absorbers

The same coverage is cheaper with the GMEPP too. I bought it several months ago over the GMPP for my Yukon Denali after much research and the recommendation of my providing dealer.

So obviously the GMEPP will cover any "Valve" issues that may arise in the future?

Assuming the same deductible as the GMPP, yes.
