They are plastic. Factory is RED only
Forum vendors have them Red,Black, Chrome. Also on Ebay from time to time

There are good ones and bad ones. Good ones are raised with Chrome plating and painted inserts Look just like factory, bad ones are thick cut decals.

My Experience is. I have in hand factory $150 emblems and a set of these $15 emblems side by side you can not pick the factory ones from the others. Now that being said. Yes there are Crap emblems out there, and yes I have bought some and I would not even use them on a mail box, so be very careful when picking which ones to buy.

No they do not come with instructions. $150 buys you that feature. NO I am not affiliated with the Ebay seller. I searched for a long time looking to color my factory Red emblems black, and stumbled across these, After spending a lot of money on junk!

DDanno...looks amazing...especially on the raised hood. Any one know the factory distance from the windshield side of the hood? Just ordered a pair of the black ones. Don't really want to pay $150 for the instructions...

If you put them Approximately 4 3/4" from the edge of the hood to the rear of the emblem and centered in the rise of the hood you will be close to the template.

You are kidding about not being able to pick which ones are factory, right? On the black inserts it appears that the top of the 27 is sloping down on the right and the bottom of the 7 isn't even with the bottom of the 2 making it look the 7 is bent. The black inserts don't look near as nice as the factory red as far as quality IMO.

I have not seen a post yet of Jetstream Blue. In 2011, there were only 28 Z06's in Jetstream Blue and a small fraction of those with the Z07. Mine is a loaded 3LZ and also had the CFZ option which makes this pretty unique.
