I hear ya.. I'm waiting to see what another forum member gets for his and if it's not that good I will just trade it in and the money I save on taxes will help for getting a lower price for it.. As far as clutch goes I don't think you can get a lighter pedal clutch than the stock clutch..

Autotrader listings and what they are selling for are two totally different things. Best of luck whatever you do.
Pay RPM the $10k and just do an auto swap and be happy.

Mine is bone stock, Night Race Blue Metallic properly equipped with 3LZ, MRC, PTM etc with Machine faced Cup wheels. I added 35% tint full front (hood, bumper, fender) and rear fenders covered by Xpel PPF, lights covered by 3M. I also have RPI design CF splitter with reinforcement, and side skirts also covered with 3M PPF. Plus GMPP extended warranty till 2020 zero deductible. Car has 4600 miles on it. Listed it on here for 61k and not even a sniff (someone offered 53k). I have it on Autotrader and couple of people interested but no commitment.
This car is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Only someone who really really wants a 2013 Z06 set up exactly like this (and has the money of course) will buy it but that might take a while. Problem is you can get a C7 for less and a little bit more can get you into a ZR1.
I think I am holding on to this one...can't beat the feeling of an NA 427 winding to 7k

My experience with mods on a Corvette over the past 40 years (my first was a new 76) is that you do take the cost of the mods, divide by half and than SUBTRACT that number from the current FMV.
Unfortunate but true. For some reason we all want to start with a stock car and do the mods ourselves. Maybe not reasonable but the status quo.

well
one more comment, you see on Auto Trader some person or dealer puts some crazy price on a car, like ZO6 Vettes, then others follow that price . Then they don't sell forever. I have been watching a couple for a long time. I sold a couple and believe me, most don't bring the numbers. the dealers are just too deep into them and now they are stuck. Like 2012 z cars asking $63-$65,000. The model has changed guys, face it. Also, the LS7 has problems and without a factory warranty you are toast. Wake up guys! Flame away , but you know I am right

"Aftermarket mods on a late model high-performance vehicle can be like a swimming pool when trying to sell your house - some people won't even consider your house if it has one, and even if the buyers are open to it, don't expect to get every dollar out of what you put into it back on a resale."
So true. I sold a house in Duxbury MA that had a 40K in ground pool.
There was no interest in the house or low ball offers. I paid someone with a machine to come in and cave in the pool, loam and seed. 40K pool gone along with 2,500.00 to get rid of it. After that the house sold in a month and I made money.

Unless you live in Phoenix, where 99% of buyers won't touch a house without a pool. I don't know of a single house in my neighborhood that doesn't have one. Pool felt great when it was 119 yesterday.
A 2013 z06 could be grabbed for $65k or less BRAND new from a dealer, so a used one for that just seems silly.

That was my thought exactly.....I was wondering when someone would bring that up....
Add: @ OP: most people who buy these cars used, do not buy new ones either because they are out of their price range when new or they are bargain hunters/bottom feeders. I doubt seriously you will get anywhere what you are asking for your Z. There are too many factors working against you....
Does GM know the car has FI? If not, return it to stock and sell it that way. Those who will consider buying your Z, I will bet that they seek a warrantied car. The peeps who can afford your car; they are buying the "new" Z06. They can buy a Stingray for less than what your seeking.
Either return it to stock, sell the parts separately and trade your Z or try to sell it at your price and wait to see. My outlook is that it will remain for sale for awhile. It has not depreciated enough for a bottom feeder yet.

I've been looking for the right 2012/13 model (unsuccessfully so far) so I've been doing some research. I think your ask is in the fairly priced ballpark. If I were interested I'd make you an offer around $58.

Thanks, but that reply was for cnair specifically. I'm only interested in a few specifically optioned stock cars (which I just haven't found yet).

Tried to PM you but your PM is full...don't want to hijack OP's thread...my post was just to highlight how difficult it is to sell these cars even when bone stock and under extended warranty, and the low ball offer of 55K I got.

Sorry, I cleaned it out. This is a price discussion, not a for sale ad. I was just adding my opinion about prices; yours specifically.

Ok I will respond here then...I won't take 58k for this car...will just end up keeping it. There is a 2013 Z06 3LZ black with CF trim on Autotrader listed for 59k, might want to check it out. It has 8700 miles.
