I do however know that after this weekend's event at NOLA that he picked up another trip to Vegas for the invitational!

Feras Abuqartoumy's 2008 Corvette earned the Holley EFI GTL Class invitation to the 2018 OUSCI in New Orleans. Congratulations to all of the latest invitees to the 2018 #OUSCI from the qualifying event at NOLA Motorsports Park! We'll see you at The SEMA Show! I love that front end! Any chance you have some build/install pics of it?

Good for you! Keep up your hard work and great driving skills.

I am currently building a twin oil cooler up front as well. I want those bumper cutouts but man they are pricey. I might have to glass up something of my own

Thanks guys this weekend was a complete mess with abs and brake failures along with a fuel pump failure. I had to sit back and put some very slow times down and just pray as the competition got faster and my times were not holding up.
But somehow it was barely enough. I now think what we are seeing in that dyno chart was the beginning of the fuel pump starting to fail... But we will be a force at Pikes Peak, Barber and At Vegas for the Invitational!

Im running a 8.5'' Quartermaster. Just put it in last month and man has it been difficult to get use to. I had a Centerforce DYAD before but the centerforce weigh's in at 46lbs and the quartermaster is 26lbs...

meh wasnt that bad. I bought two setrab coolers from improved mounted and plumbed myself then ordered the carbon fiber ducts from tikt. I was lucky to score just the outer carbon now they will not just sell the outers you must buy everything from them and yes that is expensive...

Which Setrab Coolers are you running?

Look like the 6 series 34 row units? Part #: 50-634-7612

Also are you running it in series or parallel?

I am putting my twin kit together as we speak. I am entertaining the idea of using 2 of the 6 series 25 row coolers, Part #: 50-625-7612. Still havent decided if I am going parallel or series.

Thanks

Gotcha. I am leaning towards series for better cooling. Concerned with total pressure drop though.

-10 lines? That's what I am plumbing

That's good news! I'm trying to save money where I can and like to build as much of everything as possible myself. So I am thinking I will mount my coolers first, then cut the bumper to feed them, make temporary ducting from bumper face to cooler faces, create the surrounding edges to help "capture/collect" the air, cover the bumper in saran wrap or equivalent/similar, and then lay down glass and build it up until I get an insert similar to those beautiful carbon fiber pieces you have on the front. Some brackets, body filler, lots of sanding and some paint, and it could look nice, although its not the carbon fiber sex appeal

Where do these vent the hot air to? You just yank the back of the fender wells?

I plan to build a duct on the back side, and direct it outwards along the edge of the backside of the front bumper....which will create an "air curtain" around the front wheels. It can reduce drag and frontal lift.

So this is the only picture I can find on my phone but I just drilled a bunch of 2'' holes in the fender well behind the oil coolers to let the hot air escape. And by a bunch I mean like 30 lol

Ha ha ha that will do it. Simple and effective. I was considering a simple solution like that, but was concerned with sending some heat to the brakes. Hey at least it heats your tires up for ya

Do you have a part number on those rotors?

How did the 7.7 do during the racing season? I would like to hear your overall impressions of this engine.
