10 pass....EASY.....9 second pass....EVEN EASIER
Ok now before some of you fellas get you're panties in a bunch calm down..9s will be in my future.. so my slicks came in but not wheels, so I ran without them. On 325-25-20 heavy run flats. Sacramento was hot sweating the whole time. High 90s to low 80s by the time I left, so I had fun messed around with one of my best friends not serious about a pass because I don't have slicks. Although I did try 4 out of the 16 passes. Only made 19 ever on this carbover half are bullshit fun passes. So to the point I ran a 11.5 at 129 for my best time. I had better 60 foots this one was 2.056. And felt like if I had seat time I could have done better but my consistency was 12.1-12.2 allot allot allot of misshifts and like I said I was having fun with my bro. Also it's hard to see it on video I was side ways back and forth at 90!! Was fun I can say here are the pics and vids.
I'm also 220 6ft and have a full heavy roll cage 3160 quarter tank with no one in car.
YouTube videosorry quick edit I'm tired and it's 12 in the morning)

where's this 10 second pass your title eludes to?
You might crack into the high 10's with some drag radials, but you aint hitting 9's.... A tire wont make THAT much difference.

Based off your mph you should be in the high 10's. You're 60' is killing you. Perfect the launch and shifting and you'll be in the 10's easy, especially with your DR's.

2-3 was killing me the whole day, it confused the hell out of me took me a few runs to learn but since I would spin, the car is so loud and some times I won't feel it. So it's at red line I shift to second quick and my mph was at 30 It was Harding getting use to it. Thought it was topping out but nope Just spinning

Ranger writes about the things he did that enabled him to set many stock and slightly modified records on a C5 Z06 and C6 Z06. Here's one example in his shifting section:
I do at least 20 sets of this drill per week, usually two sets at each end of my daily commute, and two sets in the staging lanes at the drag strip before each pass. This routine embeds muscle memory and makes each shift a preparatory cue for the next. Consistent practice will put an end to missed shifts for most drivers and make each shift much faster and nearly automatic. That in turn will free the mind to focus on shift points.

Nice job...you're correct, more seat time is needed. Was going to suggest reading up on Ranger for shift technique as well. Get those DR's installed and your shifting down, you'll be in the 10's.

Keep your eyes out for a short shifter in the for sale section...or heck, maybe even a brand new OE unit (upper and lower) that someone took of. C6 & C7 is all e same shifter assembly. Your unit (presumably OE) could be worn.

That's certainly possible but the 2-3 missed shift isn't all that uncommon. The combination of quick acceleration and improper technique contribute to this frequent occurrence among inexperienced or overzealous racers. He's most likely pushing the shifter up and to the right going from 2-3. Try pushing the shifter straight forward instead of to the right. This will allow the shifter to naturally find the correct gate. If you master that and continue to have issues with the 2-3 shift then start looking at your shifter.

Guess I lied to you also, I got you're 11 second pass. Now come on you can see tens with slicks. Easy

9s shouldn't even be a topic of conversation at this point.

Burnouts on street tires might be fun, but that's dumb for the track. Save your smoke show for the kiddies.
You need lots more seat time before you'll ever be ready for 9's. Don't rush it and screw up.
Your 60' times suck, due to your inexperience.
I ran 1.9's within 10 passes on a new bone stock '08 LS3 and I hadn't been on a track for more than 20 years. On a vacation to Florida on street tires, I hit 1.74 60' and a 11.44 1/4 with less than 400rwhp.
DR's will help you, but noway near as much as more seat time will make a difference.
