Default No love from the car shows...

but corvetteonline.com came through with a win!

Its just unfortunate that the car got sandblasted a few weeks later on a rally through the desert. $12k in damage. OUCH! The good news is that comprehensive coverage is taking care of it of me. WHEW!

Good looking car, but I'm partial to RED Corvettes

I'm jealous that you're in Oceanside. I grew up there, but had to move because of my job. At least it's close enough to drive for visits.

Probably depends on the car show and where you are at. Here in MN, I've noticed that unless you are at a car show specifically for Corvettes, they typically don't win awards, except maybe for the really rare ones like a 63 Split Window. Fortunately I have a 71 Hemi Cuda that I can take to car shows so I win a few awards with that.

Car shows are full of politics. Better to park outside.

Yeah, "sanctioned" car shows aren't really my thing, same with car "clubs" but they are interesting to attend sometimes to witness some of the silliness that happens. I have fun with car doing what its supposed be doing and that's good enough for me.

Lived in Carlsbad and Encinitas for nearly a decade...always enjoyed the area. Ryne is the man....what did you have CMS do to your car?
