Is a BTR 3/4 or the VR KAOTIK/Sumbich cams able to be daily driven?

My Kaotic has no surging or bucking to speak of... But then again, mine is definitely not a DD....

The difference between the power made on those 2 cams is going to rely on your total combo. Ive read BTR stage 4 make as high as 600+hp in some combos and 550hp with an awful torque curve in others. Research research research then call someone reputable who's willing to talk cam numbers and combo for more than 5 minutes. Just my $0.02

Just my .02 but I feel the GT-21 is a bit overrated. The lift is a bit much and the gains from that are just not really there for my LPE660 C6Z, it is just shy of 600 RWHP on a mainline dyno (heartbreaker). I am going to get Pat G to spec a cam for the new motor since I am going with a blower setup. TSP will grind the new cam. YMMV
It does sound great though, drivability is decent above 18-1900 RPM. Kind of thinking the heads are going turbulent above 5500-6000 RPM which is hurting the power in my case.

Kohle's 116 gets great reviews, but the OP was looking for 600+ hp. I think that's out of the realm for that 116 cam. I'm sure he has more custom grinds for that sort of thing though...but his 116 is his go-to for many reasons, driveability being one of them.

Melting Slicks
I have had so many drag large cams in different cars over the decades. Except for the sound I prefer the driveability of stock. Without the hassles. Not racing anymore. With LT's this year I will have every bolt on except a cam. More than enough power for what I need.

I was curious on how much power you were making with just bolt-ons and the stock cam? And I assume you had the heads done (milled and ported)? I have the same setup and making 526rwhp. But I may cave in to the allure a mild cam. The AHP 116 sounds like a good one for me. The stock cam is not taking advantage of the Mamo ported MSD and restricting air flow according to Tony. The lobes on the stock cam are to lazy (not enough lift and duration). But hard to beat the way a stock cam car drives (perfect).

Anybody run the QM600 and ended up changing it to something else?
Currently have the QM600 which to my knowledge is
(242/254 .650/.650 113 +2)
Just wondering if there are cams out there making silimar or more power that are more street friendly. I mean my car is not too bad but you do get the slight bucking if travelling slow and rpms drop below 1500-1700.
Currently at 570rwhp.
