Without getting too deep in the weeds, the forces on the exhaust side, due to cylinder pressure that exists as the exhaust valve opens, are very high and that side of the system (exhaust) are under more stress. And when you add in the area of the exhaust valve, the pushrod on the exhaust side can become the weakest link (it will deflect/flex and/or compress before the intake side pushrod does). So often times builds call for stronger/thicker/stiffer pushrods on the exhaust side, which is experiencing higher forces. So this is likely why Mike. And is a smart move.
Id say you're probably spot on with that Anthony. Given that his exhaust pressure is enough to keep bending B&B Fusion exhaust flaps at the mufflers, I imagine the forces are as great or greater at the combustion end.

Out with the old. In with the new. Iím happy to say that I found a great buyer for the Mamo topend. It couldnít be going to a better home.

Current state of disassembly. I need to pick up the pace.

Sweet, hopefully the new owner of the top end can see about what happened.

I'm pretty sure the buyer will have the parts inspected very closely.

Dave Steck (DSX Tuning) does remote tuning on my car. I bought an AFX2 wideband from him, installed it on the car, and it's accuracy gets him the data he needs to make the car run awesome.

Did you clean the pistons or is that how clean they were from running E85?
