Here are the guide clearance numbers after the WCCH inspection this month. WCCH did the OEM heads 12K miles ago (may 2016) when all the HCIE work was done. I am very pleased with the results. See the links in Post #1 for the original build back then. These are the best guide numbers iI recall seeing. More info to come on how the bottom end made out.

While I did not go thru Katech to have the heads redone (bought all the parts from them including K501 cam, Ti retainers, PSI springs and guide seals), essentially they were done the way Katech spec'd to WCCH for some time, when Katech offered the TiMo intake valves and before they offered the TiMo exhaust valves (which are built by Victory Racing of Charlotte NC - they do most all the NASCAR Cup Ti valves). So I do have CHE bronze guides, WCCH P&P job with .030 shaved and all new (as of 2016) OEM exhaust valves and OEM rocker arms. For the performance events I've done since the 2016 build I did use the 7300 SFO (just before) as the shift point on a number of straight line events and when called for on the road courses (3500 to 7300 rpm) and ran mostly a constant 4800 RPM in 5th for the Silver State 90 mile event in the 150 MPH class three times, so100+ minutes.

Thanks for posting up the guide wear measurements, I have about 15,000 miles on my WCCH heads with my stock motor. I’ll check mine after 20-25k miles. At the rate I am driving the car that may be 10 years from now.
