I recently purchased a 2010 ZR1 and sold my C5Z06, which gave me 10 years of solid fun by the way.. Wish I had room to keep it .. I've been looking for a newer Vette for the past 2 years.. My Choices with the budget I had were, a C6ZR1, but contemplated over a newer 2015 C7Z06 for about the same money or even a nicely done C6Z06.. It's all a personal choice but in the end The C6ZR1 is just a special car and you dont see a lot of them It's a ZR1 for Gods sake.. It was a complete monster when it came out in 2009 smashing every performance record of any GM car and many SuperCars from all over the World as well.. The 2010 I purchased is absolutely pristine and a one owner unmolested car.. It stole my heart as soon as I laid eyes on it.. Driving it sealed the deal.. 60k is still a lot to spend on a 9 year old car as well. Good luck on your decision!
Just wanted to update everyone, ended up finding a very clean, 24K original mile C5 Z06 with heads/cam/LTs. Planning on going a different route and building this thing out to 1000+hp!

I sold my C6Z to buy a Cummins lol. Now got the itch for the Z again so looking to jump back in. Considered a C5Z but theres just something about them damn C6's

I did the same thing. Just traded the Dodge for a ZR1.
