Default 07 z06 head swap

When removing driver side head and power steering pump. Do you have to remove the abs module?

Yes, 2 15mm bolts under the car behind the sway bar on the subframe.

I have heads FS if you need some.

No, if you remove the abs module bracket it gives you some more room and flexibility.

I did it this way; removed the bracket and slid the entire assembly forward. I also removed the PS pump although I've read where this isn't necessary. It wasn't difficult, and freed up some space, so in the end it was worth it.

One other question that im seeing different answers on is reusing the crank bolt. Reuse or get a new one?

Def get a new one...ARP makes one that’s not too pricey. I believe they are a TTY one-time use item. So ARP or factory new.
