Default Apsis Front Splash Guard

Bought a pair of Apsis front Splash Guards for my C6 ZR1 and was wondering what you guys have done for the top screw?
The top screw seems to be way to long, did you guys drill into lip or is it possible to get a smaller screw?
Thanks for your input...

I used the screws provided, angled in a bit. Pilot hole first. Zero issues.

If you install those keep in mind they will scratch both front fenders where the splash guard touches the body. The only way to prevent this is to install a barrier (clear bra) between the guard and the body. Search this issue on the forum otherwise you might be very upset if you decide to remove them in the future.

Another “vote” for clear protective film under the Apsis part. I just used some extra film I had, used the splash guard as a template, and made my own.
