Anyone going to offer up to 10 year loans on base C6's?

10 years?? Ouch! I'd love a c6, but there's no way I'd hold a loan on a car that's longer than it will take to pay off my house. But, I think you're right about needing that long of a draw to get a 400 to 500 payment...maybe a couple of year old used c6 will do?? That's what I'm thinking for me.

10 years?! Ouch...I guess if you know you're gonna keep it...
$50k, 10 years @ 3.95% is > $60k to own...that's one heck of a premium to pay.

Hey Beetlejuice, not to squash your dream here, but, a 10 year note on a car is just not a good thing, period. Don't beat yourself up.
Be patient save up more for a good down payment. Wait for the second or 3rd year C6. You will be happier you did, and you'll get that much better a C6.

Agree! 10 year note on a car that won't be worth a 10th of what you paid for it is not a smart financial decision. With the exception of my 69 z/28 and my two corvettes, I have never bought a used car, but now am kicking myself for not having done so and saved a bunch of money that I could have put into my house, my cars, or something for my beautiful wife. Let someone else pay the depreciation, though i have to admit, the smell of a new c6 (say an 07 model) would be a glorious thing. You'll be grinning if you buy an 05, but you'll still grin if you wait a couple of years...just take the money you would have paid in either depreciation or finance charges and put it into aftermarket mods! :D

 May not want to pay more than $400-500/month.
Have you ever figured how much interest you'd be paying on a ten year note!!!!
I don't get it .... there are KILLER deals out there on used and new C5s and people consider selling their kids and a leg plus take a mortgage for the rest of their life to get into a C6.
