Not good. Marbles in a can sounds like detonation. Detonation = bad!

I assume you are talking about having an ATI ProCharger. ATI ProChargers use straight cut gears that need to be broken in. This break in period takes about 500 miles and the noise normally quits down considerably. Bob

Yup, it's a characteristic of the Procharger. It's due to the straight cut gears and lash (excessive IMO) in the gear mesh. You might be able to bump up your idle speed a little to quiet it down some but you will never get away from it.

that sound will go down. then you will get the wonderful whine. mine totaly changed once i did first oil change
