I think I am still in process of the "custom tune". LG Motorsports did the dyno tune. They are going to work on it some more next week to see if they can solve my problem.

As far as heat or other blower induced problems, I have about 750 miles on it and no other problems. It runs cooler in warm weather now than it did now that I have the 160 degree thermostat and Big Bollas intercooler mods. Granted the ambient temperature was only low 90's, but the water temp runs around 195-200. In fact, you have to drive it a little hard to get the oil temp above 212.

I removed the throttle body and MAF. They had a small amount of oil build up in them so I cleaned them and the connectors. Since I was leaving for Corvettes on the Rockies weekend I didn't get a chance to really test it out. I did go into boost a few times and it worked OK. While in Co. I got on it hard a few times and still no failure. Returned home and took it out the next morning and after driving about 1 mile, I got on it in first gear, and down it went again. Removed fuse and then later got on it 4-5 times and it ran without failure. It seems that as long as I let it warm up to full operating temperatures it runs fine.

My theory about it working OK in Co is that the air is thinner so it was actually not peaking out the MAF. I would still like comments from anyone that has had this problem if you haven't already posted. Thanks.

DG,
it's the maf patch and a few other parameters, promise... search my posts... it'll just keep happening untill you have it fixed through the tune... I spent 6 months trying to fix a problem that took 30seconds to fix...

Default Finally All Is Good!

To wrap this thread up, LG Motorsports (Louis) put the finishing touches on my HP Tuners tune yesterday. It really runs great now and I don't have to worry about any more "Reduced Engine Power" problems. Ended up installing a 2 bar MAP and he tuned it to use the MAF during normal driving and Speed Density mode for extended RPMs. The engine seems a lot smoother now and more responsive on the lower end than it was with the other LS2 Edit tune. In addition, he squeezed out another 15HP to 535rwhp.
