I raced one head to head, with only a catback, tune and airfilters and we were dead even from 40-140 with neither of us pulling on the other. Stock to stock, he would have had me though from a roll.

Stock to Stock! Wait a minute there buckaroo.
His "stock" M6 BMW would be more like our stock Z06 Corvette. Now, if you would have run a stock BMW 6 series, then you could consider the race stock to stock.
An M6 is a hot rod from the factory, at a cost of $99K (coupe), just like the Z06 is a hot rod from the factory. I don't know how much you spent on your car, plus the money for the catback, tune and filters, but I'm sure it didn't cost you $99K. I think you did pretty darn good with your "modified" C6

Plus the LMB made it 10 mph faster.
The stock M6 will get railed by a stock C6 Z - it would pull a stock 05-07 C6 though. The M6 probably go neck and neck with an 08 C6 though. The M6 might have 500 hp, but they don't have much torque (385 lb-ft), and weighs almost 3800 lbs. = 7.6 lbs/hp

My advantages were that I was running a few mods totalling 375rwhp, and I was POWERSHIFTING! Otherwise, he would have crawled away from me. But we ran three honks from 40 and like I said we were dead even to 140mph. I also heard that M6 chirp third... Wow, for a super heavy car it was really fast. But as I said above, he would have had me like crazy if I didnt have the mods and wasn't powershifting.

Sounds like a good time. Why are you posting it in the FI forum if you have 375hp? Mine was 357 with a catback stock.
I rarely participate in "time and distance experiments", but, this guy was begging for it. You all know the type.... with the 'attitude'. He assumed he was picking on a stock C6. I had to defend our Brand.
Disclaimer: All experiments in speed and distance take place on a private track, used for specific intents and purposes.
An M6 posts a 0-60 of 4.5(4.6), depending who you ask. That means it's half a second slower than a Z51 Vette. In other words, comparatively it's like a Z51 racing a Z06. There is no competition there.
There is a guy who lives in my complex with a used M6 and admits he wants no part of me. I don't have anything special.... but I drive it like I stole it. A posting of 500 peak HP means nothing to me.... especially when the torque is in the 380s.
I dunno bro's, M6 is damn fast! With only a slight jump on me, it was a strain to catch and hold one about a month ago. I'm rear-wheeling 433hp and I was red-lining when be both backed off. Closed track, of course.

may want to recheck your math on that one. A C6Z will kill an M6 in any contest.
I got the chance to take on an M5 before release up in Palos Verdes. We find that they test up here from time to time. I had 525 rwhp at the time in a Vert. I think he thought I was stock and took me on. He actually stayed close until 100mph and then fell back preaty fast. they are fast for what they are. But now I ahve alot more hp and a BMW 335 chipped to 360rwhp which really pisses the M6/m5 croud off. I even had one guy in a m6 almost hit me because he wanted to find out what i was driving.
