Tried to cut down the engine covers and am having issues , please post pictures of your successes with tips and tricks or post an alternative solution please.
Lingenfelter has em and so does Callaway. The Lingenfelter ones can be had color matching and the Callaway ones you have to paint. They are both expensive 500.00 + smackers by the time the smoke clears. Far as I know they are the only ones that have em made to fit the Maggie. I bit the bullet and ordered the Lingenfelter ones in A/O.

I have the LPE covers also.........You might try a search, I saw a post last year where someone cut the top 1/3 off with a bandsaw (he said it was easy....looked good). I know the LPE and Callaways are high, but they sure look nice. Good luck.
Thanks for the link. I just completed cutting them like Marct6444 did and they pretty good for a cut down piece. Now I can wait a bit before buying the Callaway covers (expensive). I am so inspired now I may just clean these up a bit more, give them a shot of Millennium Yellow and see how they look. Sounds like a next weekend project.
Tips for others who may be in the same boat 1) be aggressive and do not be afraid to cut allot off. I ran the cut line at the bottom of the corvette embossed section taking off at least 1/3. They now just say LS2. Band saw would work best; I used a coping saw and did it by hand. Cleaned up with a Dremel tool. 2) The hole for the stainless line needs to be expanded as the line shifts back to the rear. Just follow the current line down to make a larger square opening. 3) You need to cut some off the front to fit it past the power steering tank. About 1 1/2 inches does the trick 4) On the front of the driver’s side you must trim a little to clear the cables. Just cut the corner down about an inch. 5) it is held on only but the two mounts now but it seems very solid.
I still need to clean mine up but I am going to wait until they come off again for paint. Thanks for all of the help on the forum. If I could figure out how to post a picture I would.
