Houston Shop , Jason @ GulfCoastPerformance and Stephen @England Green along with Andy's@A&A are modding my vette.....

I’m having Jason build my 2006 C6 corvette Z51 that’s now at 430rwhp 404 tq.. http://flickr.com/photos/13082277@N0...7603870682295/ that got me to 167 mph in the TEXAS MILE
http://flickr.com/photos/13082277@N0...7603820918267/ I considered a lot of options, from FAST90 ported intake with NOS burst kit and Nitrous bosses NOS direct port application to a 454ci-500 ci NA to the SC vs Turbo but have decided to do a 402 forged with Vortech SC T-Trim :

These are MY hopeful #'s 750+ hp 725 tq…for DynoDay ¼ mile drag 10's; 60-130 6.5 sec; Texas Mile 190mph, TWS track day 1.45's on the 2.9 mile track, and of course daily driver. .put put along the street,,,
Engine:
A&A 402 forged short block for FI 10:1
A&A ported Edelbrock heads 245’s dual springs, titanium locks and retainers
England Green Whiplash Cam 230’s 240’s 114 .6+ lift
Z06 Lifters
ARP 12 point head studs
A&A T-Trim Vortech SC Kit - Includes Raptor Shift Light, boost gauge, and XD-16 wide band air fuel kit with gauge
ECS Methanol Kit dual stage
A&A Fuel System
A&A 8 rib system
Misc gaskets, high flow oil pump, fluids, pushrods, timing chain, springs
DeWitt’s radiator Z51 option
Drivetrain:
Textralia ExoSkelKit; includes bleeder, pilot bearing; and slave
Diff ReSwap back to 3.42 Micro polish gears from the 4.10 gears I had
GCP Billet Pinion Support
Right and left side hardened differential shaft
Heavy Duty Clutch Packs
DTE Strut Brace
Suspension
Twin tunnel plate(painted w 1500 deg ceramic) over existing plate
Pfadt sway bar bushings
DRM steering rack bushings
Brakes;LAPD stainless line kit with Motul Fluid, Hawks HP Plus Autocross
Existing: Melrose headers w Random High Flow cats wide band bung pre welded, GHL exhaust Callaway/CAI and shroud coming off for A&A system intercooler
Existing: Z06 repro wheels with rear widebody kit (18X9.5 & 19X12), Nitto Invos 275/345, Bilstein Spts, other stuff..........

You're getting closer!

Default Swap back.

Hi, your one of the first people I have seen swap back to stock ratio from 4:10`s. What was your reason for this?? Have 4:10`s with some mods, may go superchged, down the road, when the $ gets better,, Lol!!! But to tell ya the truth, I think it would work better with 3:42`s. Seems to me sometimes 4:10`s rev too fast too soon, and something gets lost in the sauce. Just my opinion, but I had it since I first put them in. Anyway,, nice work there!!!

You are correct, 4.10s will be too low of a gear ratio with a supercharger setup. Street tires will become useless. This car will be used in road race applications as well and you do not want to deteriorate traction around the twisties. With the increased torque of the supercharger you will be rowing through the gears quite quickly on the S/C app.

Umm.....what is that? Is this some problem the owner was not even aware of? That is scary....but what exactly is it and what caused it?
