Just a quick question for all of you with a blower. Ever since we installed my pacton my outside temp sensor has been going wacky. It is constantly reading incorrect temps. Yesterday it read -22 degrees Not really a big deal except the ac doesn't work when this happens.
So I was just wondering fi you have to relocate your sensor and if so where to? Also is there a way to force the ac on even when the car reads the outside temp being below freezing?
I relocated mine up by the Air filter just for ambient air readings vs. IAT's no real need to do that, but hey why not... Since the S/C install I've never had any wacky readings though, almost 3 years now... as for the A/C being forced on, sorry I'm no help there...

Mine is already right next to the filter. It may be a bad sensor but I thought it might be because of all the air being sucked by it. hmmm
There's no need to relocate it................make sure it is plugged in, mine read -10 degrees until I realized it was completely unplugged. If yours is plugged in, the sensor must be bad.
Yup just got off the phone with ECS. Looks like I will be bring the car in as soon as I get a chance. Might just buy a new sensor and swap it out myself it may be easier then bringing it in to the dealership.

Thats what it sounds like, it's easy to do, I would give it a try yourself.
yeah i am going to buy the sensor and change it out myself this weekend. Not worth bringing it in to the dealership. if that doesn't resolve it then i will bring it in.
