Default STS owners, please step inside

I'm going around in circles trying to choose which FI route to follow. I've owned roots, centri, and turbo cars in recent years, so I'm familiar with the pros and cons of each. And like many, I've scoffed at the rear turbo approach as being just plain wrong, but after watching a lot of youtube vids, it looks like they work pretty well.

Since I do HPDE sessions, heat, weight, and weight distribution are very important, which is why I'm now considering either an STS kit or a DIY rear mount over the APS and TTi kits. I realize DIY requires a lot of fab work, but a good friend owns a race car fab shop, so that won't be a problem. We collaborated (I watched, he welded) on this exhaust for my 911:

So STS guys, what would you like to be different or better with your kits? Or is it fine the way it is? PM is fine - I sure don't want this thread to drown in STS bashing!

Please let me know if you have an STS C6 in the bay area, I want to see one up close.

I've exchanged PMs with one C6 STS owner - is he the only one? Does anyone in the Bay Area know someone with an STS car that I can check out?
