Default Spark Plug Issues

I put in Autolite plugs that are 2 degrees colder just to be safe and started getting service charging system error codes. A buddy of mine is the head vette tech at the dealer here. He read the code and it said that the ECU needed to be replaced so he ordered the part. In the meantime GM issued a TSB and said to check for aftermarket plugs before replacing ECU. Put stock plugs back in message went away.

Has any one else seen this and if not what plugs are you running?TR6's?

I think most of the FI guys are running the TR6's. I know I am...

I run TR6's in all of my LS7's and I've never heard of such a problem.

How very interesting! I just can't imagine what could be causing your problem?

GM says its because the idol is off a little with the diffrent plugs and the alternator only kicks on past a certain RPM. Crazy how sensitive these cars are getting

I've run the TR6's in my procharged LS1, LS6 and LS2 and never thrown codes because of the plugs.

TR 6's here with the Maggie "no issues." I believe I read something on the forum that it was the pulsing plugs "whatever the hell that means," thats causing issues.
