Default Help spend $10,000

I'm looking to rev up my C6 Zo6 with a combo of supercharger, exhaust, intake, tune, etc.

I'm looking to spend roughly $10,000 give or take.

If you had a bone stock car with that amount to spend, what would you do and why?

Thanks for the input.

Well I could be biased, but this is what I would recommend.

Add a set of American racing headers, and you have a potent package that has great street manors. We finished one on Thursday that made 667/650 RWHP, and a couple of weeks before that was 670/650 ish.

Feel free to call the shop if you have any questions.

For that kind of money a lot can be done…we have produced many powerful street and strip forced induction combinations.

Give us a call and we would be more than happy to discuss the many combinations and options to get you what is best suited for your needs.

Doug,

If I went with your package trying to get close to 700 rwhp while maintaining streetability, what would that total package be including install? What is the turn around time?

Where are you located?

I would recommend the ECS kit or the A&A T-trim kit. Either one comes with everything except the headers.

AR, Kooks, LG's are all great headers.

Don't forget to budget for gauges if you want them

I am the "a couple weeks before car". I can only speak to my experience so don't take this as the end all and be all; however, I cannot say enough positive things about ECS. I was and continue to be completely impressed by the product quality, the customer service, the ability to add to the kits, and the road manners of the ECS SC600 kit. It is simply amazing what a 670 rwhp and 650ish rwtq C6Z06 feels and sounds like. I bought nitto invo tires thinking that might help - NOT! Much better than the stock run flats, but when my Alky kit light flicks from red to green, well, let's just say nittos just can't keep up with ESC's kit.

The price is right in your range, but I suggest having it done all at once (meaning, save for a few more months and get it all done for a few more bucks) because the wait is the hardest part. That's not to say it will take long - based on my experience i think a week to week and a half turn around for SC600, AR heards, Alky kit and tune.

If you have any interest, you are more than welcome to come up this way to check it out in person and take it for a spin. Just pm me. to a very happy customer.

BE FOREWARNED - once the modding bug bites, you'll never turn back, warranties be damned!

Please give the shop a buzz at 609-752-0321 and we can discuss options and power ranges. We also have a pick up service that can get your vehicle to and from for you if you do not have the time, they are usually hauling exotics and take very good care of our cars.

Guys, thank you very, very much for the positive feed back, we really appreciate it.

Just to be safe, save up twice of what you think you will need. Its the little things that you will forget to do.

Remember to include the cost of the tuning. I hate hearing about people grenading imcomplete cars.

Take everyones advice and get it ALL done, and get it done right.

I'm not sure what tuners are in Va.. There are two in the Raleigh/Durham NC area that are really good. Jeff at Carolina Auto Masters in Durham, NC is really good, an I've herd good things about RPM Performance in Raleigh, NC.

Some Va people may chime in with some closer tuners that are good quality. If not, check out the ones mentioned.

Most any of the large reputable tuners will be pretty honest with you on what the best way to spend your money is. ECS, Carolina Auto Masters, RPM... Just find a good tuner that has a good reputation and see what they feel comfortable doing in that range.
