Do polished maggies tarnish?

Do polished maggies tarnish?
I am about two pull the trigger on a maggie, I want the polished version, but have heard they tend to tarnish and loose their shine. Anyone have this problem? How hard is it to bring back the shine? It this only on daily drivers? I only put about 6000 per year on mine.

I dont have the polished but have seen it. Like any other polished part, it will tarnish and dull. All you need to do is polish it regularly with something like mothers. Let it go too long and it will be a royal pain.

I have had mine for a year and a half now and it still shines. I coated it with Rejex when it was new and all I ever have to do to it is wipe it off with a micro-fiber cloth to keep it looking like new. Nothing looks as good under the hood as a pollished Maggie. And that is comming from a guy that allways said " if it don't go chrome it" Get the pollished unit you will love it.
