Default Oil question

Should you use Mobil 1 5w30 in a APS Twin Turbo C6 or should you use a thicker oil?

I would use any high quality Synthetic oil of 5W30 weight. If you plan on racing and you are used to seeing very high oil temperatures you may want to consider a higher weight oil.

This may get some debate oil questions always seem to but the best all around oil, besides base 5 race oil, is German Castrol 0w 30 synthetic (only at autozone). You can search the web about it but it has the best cold start flow of any oil out there and performs almost like a 40 weight at 100 C. And it is a true base 4 synthetic, M1 has shown in some testings to have base 3 blended in with it (petroleum base). When those turbos get hot (3 times that of the motor) you will want a little more protection with a thicker oil.
