just a few pics. i know how everyone like pics!...LOL.... the turbo lag is no more than any other turbo kit we do, all you need to do is wrap your exhaust, not all of it, but most of it and that keeps the lag to a min.!!! also we run turbo blankets!

Sure, you can go bigger, but then lag becomes TERRIBLE.

$9K for an STS kit is an absolute joke. If you are about to drop $9K on a turbo kit, then call George or spend a LITTLE more for an APS kit. APS has Christmas pricing that's pretty sporty right now....

If you plan to make real power and want a really well-thought out kit, then you don't an STS kit. Please reconsider your decision.
FYI: I paid $6k even including freight for my STS kit. It's not installed yet as I can't get it to the mechanic until the roads clear. I'll let you know "honestly" what I think once it's on.

I agree, they have always been very helpful. I love my STS Turbo system on my Z.

In this image it's apparent that your meth injection isn't going to work (if indeed that is the MAF sensor downstream of the meth injection nozzles).

You either need to relo the MAF sensor or the meth injection nozzles. The MAF sensor has to be before the meth nozzles.

If left like this the car will pop, backfire, and lose power when the meth turns on.

Just thought I'd try to help you out.

I saw that too and thought maybe the car is running in SD and they are keeping the MAF in case the IAT is integrated?

Also for what two twin scroll turbos cost you could just get regular turbos mounted up front...
Take alook at the below thread form post 12 onwards...

http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/forced...-sts-kits.html

also here is another product which could be made to work with the STS system to give very fast spool (would require twin scroll trubos)

That sound performance valve is extremely overpriced. $1000 for 2 of them is just absurd. I have had this idea long before they did and I am making a couple for myself. If a few guys, like 4 or so, wanted to try them I am sure they could contract out the parts to a cnc shop and still make them for less than a $1000 a pair, I guess if you have a single maybe its justifiable, maybe. But then again I am a cnc machinist and I know how to keep cost down and production up.

You don't even need CNC machinery or that; I bet I could crank two of those out in less than 3 hours on an old Bridgeport...

Hell if some people are interested I may make some and charge a realistic price, the control system for me would be a servo controlled setup not pnuematic. Mechatronics is also one of my things.

can you get electronics to act faster than the actuators?? also would they be as reliable??

would be ace if you could produce a product for less. i think there a possablility for a great market than just sts stuff! i bet there are a few import guys that would love to get hold of this at a better price!

Not sure how long a servo would last near a 600F+ turbo...
