Default Maintenance for Vortecs

I am considering an A&A system, and was wondering if it has the same maintenance requirements as the Procharger, i.e., changing oil every 10,000 miles etc. Thanks.

Vortech makes both systems, self contained or engine oil fed. Their website would be a good thing to look at.

Zero maintenance here; my A&A kit came with a V2 unit which uses the engine oil; when I change the oil, the blower oil gets changed out as well
If you get a V3 (self contained) unit it is usually recommended that the supercharger oil be replaced at the same time as the engine oil

The V-2 requires no maintenance. Vortech recommends checking the oil nozzle every so often and blowing it out with compressed air to make sure the way is clear.

The V-3 will require one oil change after 2500 miles and then every 7500 after that. The oil from vortech comes in a 3 pack, for $33.

V-3 Maintenance Notes
Check the supercharger fluid level using the dipstick at least every 2,500 miles.
Initial supercharger fluid change must be performed at 2,500 miles. The supercharger fluid must then be changed at least every 7,500 miles.
Drain the fluid, re-fill the unit only with 4 oz. of Vortech supplied lubricating fluid.
Confirm proper oil level using the dipstick. DO NOT OVERFILL!!

From their site, i'll probably go every other oil change then @ 6k
