Default Bottom end suggestions

Hey all,

I have a Warhawk block and am looking at different bottom end options. Am thinking of Oliver rods, Callies crankshaft (Dragonslayer), and JE pistons.

The goal is a bottom end that can handle 1500hp boosted (twin turbo).

Thoughts / suggestions / recommendations?

Joe,
the only change I would make would be the choice of crank shaft, I'd go Lunati pro series, Callies has had some issues with 1100+hp as of late...

Sounds like a question for your builder.

crower makes excellent cranks. if it was me i would use dyers 300m rods unless u went for the titanium crowers. je and mahale are what all the big name race engines builders use for pistons and i would absolutely find a way to install a 5 stage external dry sump with a well designed 3 gallon tank. the callies dragon slayer is ment to be an alternative to chineese import junk like eagle and scat it was never maent to be run in a 1500 hp motor.
