I already have an RPM Transmission Diff (3.73), twin disc clutch, Promotion preped trans to try to help with reliability. I put on 1 7/8 headers w/o cats and flowmaster mufflers. And now, I finally dropped off my Z51 C6 at HP Sales in Pompano to have an ECS kit and meth kit installed. Should be ready for pickup on Monday or Tuesday. I cannot wait!!!! I will post dyno results when they come in.
Sounds good. Stock driveline parts don't hold up long with the kind of power you will be making. Sounds like you won't have to worry about that as you already beefed up the diff. Be careful of the output shaft on the trans and you'll be good to go.
As they were getting ready to pin the crank, I saw a customer's car with at forged 427, YSi and a blower cam. I loved the way it sounded with the cam, went for a ride and COULD NOT believe how well mannered it was (1K RPMs in 4th with no bucking). I had them stop the presses and ordered a blower grind cam that they recommended. I am told that the car should be ready on Tuesday. I can't wait!

I dropped by today to check on things. I was hoping to get it this week but that has slipped by. There is progress. The majority of the kits are installed. At this point, I would sooner have them get EVERYTHING perfect by the time I pick it up. I picked them because of their knowledge and reputation for tuning and experience with blown corvettes. As far as I can tell, while it is taking considerably longer than I hoped/expected, the quality of work seems to be better than factory. I have a turn key price so at least I am not watching money catch fire while I wait. BTW, sport bikes are fun on the weekends but as a daily driver, they get old.
I went to visit my car as the install is winding down. The install looks good - near factory, the car has a mean idle, love the slight whine of the blower. I went for a ride while they were working on the street tune and it seems to have nice manners. Even at part throttle, the thing is a beast!
The belt is moving one rib off. Shim gets installed and it moves off the other way. Another shim is added (this time to the blower pulley and it moves off one rib the original way. I hope it ends up being something simple.

Ahh, was the the used kit being installed at HPsales? I spoke to them yesterday and we figured out there were some spacers missing. Hopefully that will be resolved shortly.
Tried a new head unit that ECS sent down (ECS is a top notch first class operation!!!). The belt jumping one rib problem is still there as of tonight. On the up side, no major parts are broken, car is still whole, I still have a turn key price. As soon as this minor problem (that seems to be taking forever) is taken care of, the car is going to be awesome. I still can't get over how nice it felt on the test drive at part throttle for drivability. I am sure that the tune from this shop is going to be everything I hoped for and more. I might have it back early next week. I think that the shop here is having ECS send down some shims that I am told are needed for the 2005 model year vette.
621 RWHP and 565 TQ at 12psi without the meth at 11.4 AFR. Run stopped at 6200 because fuel system is maxed. Plan is to add larger restrictor plate (smaller hole) to drop the boost to 10psi run to 6500 and tune for no meth and then have it on for safety but not necessity.
Can you imagine (I couldn't) having too much horsepower!! I am actually asking the tuner to dial it back!!
