Melting Slicks
The usual problem with bikes is they will jump out on you from a 50 roll and the question is whether or not you can pass them before the agreed upon end speed.
If your car makes a ton of torque and can move out big time to reduce that jump from the hit it is possible to beat them with somewhat less than the generally accepted figure of 800 rwhp.
My problem with a race involving cars/bikes as fast as we are talking about here 120 is not really high enough of a speed to make the race fun. 150 is a lot better and really hurts their chances of staying ahead of you then. At those speeds the hp level needed to win is less imo.

Your going up against bikes that can run 9s in the upper 140s with a good rider. I think you will need to run to speeds higher then 120 to take them.
Also these are a lot bigger then a liter bikes.

to get some TQ going. I followed one when he was giving it some gas.(Not full throttle). Then he let up around 60. He didn't know I was right behind him. He tryed to regain the lead when I was just going around him. 600 plus to the ground. About 135 he gave up. With no jump they can be had.

I will say at those low of speeds no way.. I own a zx 1400 and a gsxr 1000 and at 50 mph you hit the throttle on either one of those bikes and your gone. On the hiway if I punch my car in 4th it just spins... thats with nitto extreme r tires. Both bikes go right around 90 mph in first gear...upper speeds well that is a different ball game

If you check out the ECS youtube page below, you can watch a couple of bikes getting matched, or beat, by stock engine C6's and our SC kit. A built engine on top off that would be easy pickin's IMHO.

I "Only" made 620 RWHP but the R1 didn't stand a chance. The key is to race 'our race' and that is from a substantial roll. I have a 9 second GSXR 1000 and I am confident that the best chance for the car is from a 60 MPH roll starting in 3rd to 160+. Below that my car is up in smoke and the bike will dead hook (and not flip) from a 20 MPH roll (strapped, slammed, 1/2" longer wheel base).
