I'm a street guy!

It was very smart of you to go with 18" wheels in the rear. More tire choices available, less money for tires & more importantly you will hook up MUCH better with an 18" rim than a 19" because of the wider sidewall.

I would go 305-35-18's with that width wheel. I had 10" wheels with 305-30-19's & they bulged too much. I would not go with 30's because they are too small for the wheel well. I did not like the Toyo R888's 305-30-19, they were too short & noisy on the road because of the wide grooves. Many people use them on this forum & love them but it bothered me at all speeds. It sounded like a noisy differential. Definitely go with an R compound!!!!

I have m/t 345-35-18'son 18/12" rims & they hook up awesome.

Can you post pics of your setup/car? I'd like to see how the 18's look back there and if a wide rear would work with these.

Thanx!

I'll take pics today! My 18/12's with the 345 m/t look fantastic with the widebooty mod! It was TrenAman's suggestion to go with the z06 18" replica's from House of Wheels (It saved my *** because I had a place widen my stock rims & they messed them up by not widening them to my specs, so I lost them). ! Thanks Tren! My new black z06 replica's look & work great!
