I've been hanging out at the Hummer forums and havn't seen anything negative about the V8 - I did read about some head gasket issues on the I-5 - but that was only older H3's.

I don't know that there are any "issues" per-say...but the fact that it is out of a 5.3 Colorado is an issue in itself.
