What are your thoughts and experience on these two centrifical blower kits? One preferred over the other? The A&A kit seems a little cheaper than the ProCharger kit. However, is it a "you get what you pay for" situation.
I am pretty sure the ProCharger has a self contained oiling system while the Vortec requires oil from the pan...correct?

You can get the Vortech as self contained or engine oiled. I have an A&A kit and am extremely happy with it; I've had no issues with it. You'll find a lot of people happy with the Procharger too, but when I was doing my research, the noise earlier units made (like a can full of marbles. Google it if you don't believe me) and several reports of cars that would overheat in traffic, plus the fact that it was more expensive kept me from it.
Ultimately your car will perform as well as the installation and tune that comes with it; if you don't know any better, the best thing you can do is pick a good tuner and stick to his recommendations.
A&A Vortech Kit all the way. I can't think of one component on a ProCharger kit that would be equal or better than whats in the A&A Kit let alone the kit as a whole.
Do your research and search this forum. The choice should become painfully clear to you which way to go. Or at least you'll end up comparing A&A vs ECS and not A&A vs ProCharger.
depends on how much power yu]our looking for, Procharger would be the choice if your looking for max Horses. Vortec makes some good jam too but im going with the F1R

You are going to get 100 different answers. You are very lucky...Dallas Performance is 15 minutes away from you. Talk to Talyor about your requirements. He is absolutely one of the best tuners in the country, reasonably priced and as ethical of a business man as you will ever find.
