Default Tire pressure indicator issue

Despite being somewhat off topic on a FI forum I'm posting here because it's a possible continuation of my issues....

Car states tire pressure low at rear left. I check to find all ok. Later, while washing car, I find a whopper of a nail in the sidewall (of course) of my rear RIGHT Pilot PS2 ($530 tire ).

So...why the dyslexia?

It's a long shot but, could it be that pulling a motor in some way impacts this system? And, if so,...(help me here kids!).... could I then add this to the ennormous yet growing list of blunders endured since I went FI? Come on, make my saga complete!

It's very possible that the last time (or any other time) you got the tires replaced the wheels were swapped. Re-train the sensor positions using a large magnet or TPS reset tool (expensive large magnet).

Your motor will have nothing to do with this.

The sensors were either moved or programmed in the wrong order.

It says left rear but it could be any of them if programmed wrong.

You're thinking one generation back C6 tire pressure sensors are programmed with a proper programming tool; you can't use a magnet like you could with the C5.

And, to the OP, no, this has nothing to do with your engine swap.

thanks all.
Wow, something unrelated to the FI debaucle.

I'll advise Eurotire (tire installer) and they will fix when they mount my next $530 Michelin
