Default Instant fuel economy

How accurate is the "Instant Fuel Economy" on the DIC? I was seeing about 17 mpg city and 28 mpg at 70 on the freeway (05 C6 A4). Now after getting an A & A Corvette Vortech v3 supercharger I am seeing about 22 mpg and 32-34 mpg at 70 on the freeway. I expected alittle bit. Those numbers only happen if I can control my lead foot.

Wow, just another benefit of going to a supercharger. I better show the wife the gas savings with a blower, lol.

After weeding thru all the threads I got when I did a search, I see why. The injectors where changed to 60# and that is what changes the readings.

Exactly My car was reporting almost 40mpg while netting 23mpg due to 93lbs/hr injectors... Lol! Some

It's a good way to justify the purchase to the wife. Trust me, it will pay for itself over time.
