Default nitrous plate questions

This is for an '09 LS3 6MT

When running a nitrous system that uses a plate, does the car need to be retuned to handle the extra 'spacer' that's been installed between the TB and the intake manifold?

If so, what drivability issues are there if it's tuned for the width of the plate and the plate is removed temporarily?

Do you have to trim your intakes (I have a Halltech) to make everything fit ok? Or is the plate narrow enough that there isn't much of a shift?

Do the plates fit the newer '09 throttle bodies ok? (I notice the Nitrous Outlet kits list '05-'09, but no '10s)

Any other little items to look out for that you didn't consider when ordering, but noticed during the install?

Here's the kit I'm looking at:

the spacer shouldn't make any difference in the tune, but you should get it retuned for the nitrous

you should be able to get by without any mods but sometimes they will rub on the hood (mine does but i have a vararam with the spacer)
