My son finished installing an Edelbrock E-Force (554HP) with Kooks Headers in my 2008 Convertible, Z51. We took it for a test drive and all I can say is wow. Very Quick.
Installing the Edelbrock kit had some challenges. The instructions and organization of the parts are not perfect. We had to grind in two spots to ensure the install of the SC. One hose connection had to be modified as it did not fit the '08. The programming was simple although I took the time to update the latest file from Edelbrock website first.
We had to use the grinder to get the Kooks headers installed. Very tight fit for 1 7/8 inch headers.
The sound is great. The response is quick. I can break traction with a mild effort on the pedal. It screams when rolling from 25 to 70.
There are no tuners where I live. So no plans to tune until I get the SC paid off and purchase an HP Pro with a self study course.

Where did you have to grind for the supercharger to fit?
On our 2008 LS3 we found an "engine coolant air bleed pipe and hole cover" on 9-839 of 2008 manual. We had to grind on the driver side, rear of engine, hole cover. It sticks up about 3/4 inch and touched the rear end of the plenum of the charger. We were unable to seat the charger on the ports properly. After grinding the charger sat properly and we were able to tourgue it down.
After drilling hole to install pin in the balancer & crank we installed pin with loctite and then discovered it was not flush. Stuck out about 1/32 of an inch. So we grinded down to flush.
If you aren't going to have the car tuned, you should really invest in a wideband (installed before the cats) just to make sure your A/F is still safe...
