If you want it to sound "bad" just pull a bunch of timing at the idle RPM; it will lope and surge just like an old car with a big cam; best of all; its free 
The ZR-1 cam is a great way to add power to an E-Force while keeping driveability. Just tune it like crap in the low end; it'll sound plenty "bad", and then once you're out of idle it will have the daily driver qualities of a ZR-1. Win-Win
