E-Force LS2 Issue

Saturday I finished "UN SCALING" an 06 Automatic 599 E-FORCE calibration.
It STARTS, RUNS, AND DRIVES....PERFECT.
We'll look over the install, and if it diesels with my current setup...it could be mechanical... We'll see.
I'll be there Wednesday evening. Contact me and we'll get you set up right.
E-FORCE!

I'll call Wednesday evening to get your location and set up a time. Chris has given me an un-scaled tune but I now have RPM dive in open loop and dieseling at shutdown.

We have done many, Many E-Force systems here....
We have always started with the Edelbrock tune as there are some parts of the tune that were
not readily visible with Efi Live until we had some parameters added to our software.
We've never seen the behavior you mentioned and they have always run well.
All of the projects we've done here were completely re-tuned for delivery and worked great with no behavioral issues at all.
I believe that the very early Edelbrock calibrations were done by a different calibrator than the current fella.
Some points to be aware of.... The SCT tool that deploys the Edelbrock tune can not change the operating system of the vehicle.
Which means, you can have the EARLY or LATE GM tune in the car and it just "patches" itself to what's
already in the car. Also, the SCT TOOL can not perform the MAF patch which we use to avoid having
to "scale the tunes"... This is VERY important when you have an A6 transmission.... Make sure your tuner is AWARE OF IT!
If not, your trans is at risk.
Also, did you purchase the Edelbrock as a COMPLETE KIT or did you (or your installer) buy the unit and separately supply the injectors?
Injectors can cause the problems you're having.
Other points to be aware of.... Many of these calibrations are "MAF TUNED" and do not make use of the VE table in the tune...
You can get very different results from different tuning methods and still achieve the same HP numbers....
If anyone has questions, please leave them here.
If any of you are in Florida, I'll be in Orlando from the 9th thru the 12th of December if you need me to look at your tunes.
Stay TUNED!
Chuck CoW
