ATI Cog setup

So the cog kit has me thinking, what is everyone's stance on these? I think I have only seen 3 guys using them. It is the crank pulley, powersteering, alt, and head unit pulley.
I already have a Flip-Drive, so I would only be using the crank pulley and headunit. I am not goin to spinning that F1 very hard, so the cog may just be overkill.
Input?!?!?!?

You are going to run into 3 problems. One is spacing of the blower bracket. This is easily solved with machining new spacers. I am not a big fan of the washer stacking method, plus it just makes your system look halfassed.
Your second is tensioning the belt. You can NOT run a spring tensioner on a cog belt. You will end up tearing teeth off belts faster than you can purchase them. You will need to either weld your spring tensioner solid or completely remove it and create some type of "sliding" tensioner. You can reference any of Prochargers BBC or SBC universal cog systems for what this looks like.
Third is going to be find the correct belt length for the width you need. I believe the ATI damper is 36mm wide so this is going to limit you greatly. Don't be afraid to run something that is smaller than 36mm wide, it is not going to hurt anything.
Also just a little FYI, Cog is just fine from the street. There is absolutely no reason you can't run it on the street for a daily driver. People will tell you that is not good on things, but I have for many years, as well as a bunch of people I know. Zero repercussions have resulted. Most of those people how say these things have never even seen what a cog system looks like.
Let me know if you need held with anything. Procharger is always happy to help. Also if you want to contact House of Boost or Dallas Performance, both have done big things with cog systems on Corvettes and could possibly help with any issues.
