Well I've decided not to go as big as the f-1 blower for now since I'm on a stock bottom end. And I'm not sure what the plans for the future, as in building a motor, are. So this is what I've set my sights on, this way I'll have a little room to grow later. I'm ready to buy, I have a limited budget but hopefully someone will have a kit that will work for me and have it priced right. Let me know what ya got. Thanks

I'm not in a position to recommend anything. I was asking a question.

What power do you want to get to on the stock block? If you want to go for +700rwhp the D1 will do it. And you could do it with a 6-rib with no belt slipping issues because the procharger has a greater gearing ratio than the YSi. YSi Can make alot more power down the road though. D1 would be cheaper and easier to find used, not too many people upgrading from the YSi.

From what I know, bigger is always better in all cases!!!

Run a larger pulley until you get serious...

I'm wanting to keep it under 750 for sure for now, then later on I'll decide what I'm gonna do for a motor. So the d1 is more than enough

you can make very efficent HP with a small engine w\good flow heads with a small blower like a D1 I have a D1 and I am not sure I would ever need anything more on a street car..

I've seen the D1 making over 800rwhp on a dynojet with a 416ci motor with TF 235 heads and a 102 FAST, Same car made 775rwhp too.

I've got a Novi 2200 and it is capable of about a 100 more hp than the d1, but right now I have 794rwhp but my torque is a modest 700. The smaller blower will make more torque earlier on smaller engines. YSi and the F1C/R are better for 427ci motors IMO.
