Well, drove the car to work this morning, had the same result as last night; all great for 3-4 mins and noise came back, so I cranked up the blower / heater to 90o and on full blast, opened the windows to let some cool 97o PHX air in to circulate, after 20 mins of sweating me *** off, it seems the noise may be gone, I will check again on the way home.
Here's a thought; I have the 1591 kit (599HP) that requires the upgraded fuel pump, I haven't installed it yet. Could that be the issue? I assumed that the car would be fine as long as I don't "get on it"

Just throwing that into the mix
IMHO...unrelated. The only differences between the 1590 and 1591 kit are the smaller pulley on the 1591 and the fuel pump.
Are you sure thats a T trim? I have one on mine and its not even remotely close to that one! I know its difficult to compare sounds against a video but thats not representive of a T trim as far as my exp has told me.
Mrgillies, I ran mine with the 549 hp pulley and stock pump for a few days, then changed pumps to the Z06 and put on the smaller 599 hp. pulley. No difference in noise.
Also, we built a close fitting cover over the air filter, in part to see if the noise was coming thru the air from the intake (and in part to help lower IATs). So far, it doesn't seem to have made a difference.
I'll try the bleeding procedure next. If that doesn't work, I'll try bleeding the car.
Sigh. My E-Force is still as noisy as ever. I pretty much eliminated intake noise as the problem, so I think it's simply mechanical noise from the blower.

I dont know who you spoke to at edelbrock but if it wasnt Rob Simons try and get to him. I just spoke to him about a small problem I am having and he is very receptive and extremely knowledable being the engineer who designed the system.
Other than that nothing really to offer. It sounds like you have tried everything, but its definitely not normal as mine and a few other eforces I have heard are not noisy.
Have you upgraded your fuel pump? It sure seems my noise was my pump, I was running the smaller pulley (599HP) while still running the standard pump. My sound sounded like a rattle/air/fluid rushing from the front firewall behind the air vents. At lower power demands and initial start (3-4 mins) the sound was never there.
I've just finished the pump upgrade and the sound seems to have gone in the last 60 miles that I've done today.

That's great news. I'm glad you've got it solved because regardless of some negative posts I really think its a great unit. My pump was changed at the install as per directions. Its not in every case but I have a feeling many problems are due to install issues. Enjoy the power !!
