Default Going FI?

OK. I dont want to sound naïve, but I have never added a charger to a car yet. I know about all the benefits of the increased air / power, but just want to know what I am getting in for.
Do I have to upgrade anything else? Will clutch hold up? Will Engine blow premature? Boost loss? Maintenance differences? Anything that I may not know?

Im sure lot of ppl on this site have the same question and just want straight answers as well.
All I want is a centri kit at reg boost.
All your input is helpful in my decision. Thanks

Currently 2008 LS3 Z51 6Speed

Honestly all your questions are directly affected by how much boost you run and how much power you want to make. I'm not an expert with c6 ls2s but I do know there all around stronger than ls1/ls6. So id say if you Jus get an a&a or Ecs kit throw it on and run moderate boost there really is no excess wear on the engine (as long as your tune is right and you don't go lean and detonate ) . Probably guna have to throw a clutch in it down the line but again depends on the power you want n mostly how you are driving the car.
Sorry just saw that it was n ls3 which is even strong. If it was my car id do full exhaust, a&a or Ecs sc kit, supporting fuel mods, meth, and a twin disk clutch and with a good tune go for 725-750rwhp which is kinda as much as you should go on stock bottom end ls3
