Now that the E-Force systems have been out for a while, has anyone heard of or seen any aftermarket coil covers for these installations? I like the finished look which the Edelbrock covers provide, but they retain a lot of heat and I'm beginning to wish they didn't have the word "supercharged" cast into them. I wish someone would make them with fins similar to the valve covers made for small block Chevy's and other older style V8's. Now that hot weather is here I've removed mine altogether, but since I don't have aftermarket coil packs, valve covers or fuel rails, it's not very attractive without them.
I haven't watched it that closely, but if there's a difference, it can't be much. Odd as it sounds, it seems like my garage seems cooler since I took them off. Previously, the car radiated an enormous amount of heat for a long time. Now, it seems to cool down faster.
Kinda like asking if there are aftermarket parts for the aftermarket supercharger? I've been looking for that aftermarket forced air high capacity heat exchanger for a long time now!
