Whelp, I have 45K on the stock LS2 clutch and no sign of problems so I think going up to the LS7 will probably give me as much as the stock LS2. Aftermarket clutches have not been kind to me. I've tried cartek, ram, spec and did not like the "manners" of any of them. I found a Clutch Master Stage 3 for the TT camaro (750 RWHP) and it held great. Matter of fact is is still holding. For my Vette with the puny HP I have, I thing the LS7 will suffice quite nicely. This car will never see a drag strip or burnout. It will see occasional sprints on the street with extremely limited full boost from a dead stop so the LS7 will last for my needs.

What year is your LS2? 2007 and up LS2's ARE LS7 clutches.
Just had a Ls7 clutch give up the ghost on a locals 500rwhp car and our 560rwhp car. Granted these were on drag radials at the track but ours was on the first pass.
