Do the Vented Hoods help any
E Force, headers, cam, Dewitt, etc I am not have any bad heat problems here in NE Texas and it is hot (105-110 everyday) Im running 200- 220, I ws just wondering if the vented hood help any. Its seems they would have to. I would really hate to change but I would if there is a big difference. Thanks

Absolutely! I hate look of the aftermarket hoods though. My brother and I are going to sacrifice my stock hood this winter and make a new aluminum skin over the stock hood frame. One louver or grill will be installed right behind the supercharger. Should look cool and really extract some heat from underneath.

Do you have a side view picture with the hood down for me to see? Wondering how high the cowl is.

Any hood will help with heat, some more than others.
That said I'd upgrade my cooling system first; larger radiator, dual fans etc. They're more likely to make a larger impact on your cooling than a just adding a hood will.
To the op, No offense, but that hood is hideous imo. To each his own.

I think that hood is sweet and the price is not bad either, figure another $500 at least for painting and prep though.

I like the ACP hood. They have it in fiberglass and carbonfiber. Unfortunately it's pricey
The carbonfiber version is all carbonfiber. Most other aftermarket carbonfiber hoods still have a stock fiberglass frame.
This is from LG's website
It clears the A&A supercharger kit including the Ysi supercharger and also the Edelbrock kit.

I have that hood. I'm not using it. I'll sell it to you cheap, but it needs quite a bit of work to make it fit right.
