Thank you sir - now I just need that 9 second (or maybe 8 second with the powerglide and appropriate tires) time slip and I'll be just like you

BTW ZR1 half shafts arent up to the task...blew both sides and broke L output shaft! so much for 300M stock ZR1 outputs. what i dont get is that my best 60ft was ~2.1
Go with the DSS 500M shafts!

Good question - I'll have to confirm the slips when I get home, but the best I could get was a 10.7ish @149+ with something like a 2.++ 60'.

I butchered the start (1st and 2nd), but got better on the back end (3rd and 4th). Like I said originally, this car takes serious seat time to get the hang of the launch and the ability to shift quickly all the while being sucked into the seat. Also, FWIW, you have to take into account that I've only done the 1/4 two times in my life - this being the second and the only time I've done it with drag radials. The first time I went was in 2009 and my best time with 700ish rwhp on NT-05s (not NT-05r) was 10.5 @ 141 with a 1.9 60' (see here - http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-f...g-radials.html )

Many thanks - I still can't believe that I daily drive a 10 sec (and perhaps 9 second) car to/from work, groceries, etc etc. Great fun for sure.

ECS is installing the 5 point cage soon then putting in the powerglide for the LSX shootout. How cool would it be to have a 8 sec time slip

zr1 half shafts and pic of zr1 diff left output shaft. this all done on a 2.25 60ft. my guess that the damage might have been started during crazy 46mph back half of the 1/4

Sounds like you guys had some good times, hate I missed the Atco outing. Those trap speeds are nasty . I am from Williamstown NJ I may be interested in your next trip to Mexico, keep me in mind.
