When we started planning this build I was asked "How fast do you want to go?"

My answer was 6.99!... I thought you would say 6 flat Good luck with the new build! Fav car in the LS series.

6 flat is a HUGE LEAP, 6.99 is a HUGE STEP in itself. I would love to go 6 flat, but I need to go 7.50 first

Thanks for following the car! I always love to hear that it is someone else's favorite (other than mine of course).

We are working hard to make next year a great one. I look forward to being at as many races as possible, and if you are at one, please come by and say hello. I am always eager to talk to other car guys.

Car is almost done at the Chassis shop... can't give too many pictures, but parts are all starting to come in....

Just got these today....

As soon as the Billet block shows up I will post some pics of that. We also have some other new info coming out very soon about the build so stay tuned.

Who's K-member is that? Looks almost like a TRZ or did you custom make it.

Well, the guys at RPM Transmissions have been working on something new, and I am finally allowed to talk about it!

This year my IRS will have a 9" Center section!

RPM Transmissions have developed the adapters, bellhousings and other needed parts to fit a 9" center section into the IRS mix. We will be using a Drive shaft Shop Carrier, Axles, and Driveshaft and a newly revamped TH400 setup from RPM Transmissions.

With the ability to now change gear sets, the newer setup should be just what we need to plant more power, go faster, and win more races!

Thanks again to RPM Tranmsissions for developing this new setup and thanks to the Drive Shaft Shop for providing additional pieces to make it hold the power we will be making in 2012!

We are now fitting the new setup into the car and will be taking pictures along the way... once everything is done I will post up pics. When you see the quality behind these new products you will be amazed!

RPMTransmissions just does it right!

Our 9" conversion with the glide worked great last season, I think your going to love the gear options and just the overall beefiness of it.

Would this be fine for daily driving? How much weight do you think it took off?

What made you choose to ditch the front suspension, and go aftermarket? The weight difference is nill in comparison. Are you going to run a spindle mount?

As for the 9", are you still gonna run a rear mount transmission? Or are you running a traditional mount trans? Reason I ask, is because we've had a DSS 9" IRS in our C5 for almost a year now. Frank was instrumental in making it work. As you now know, his axle shaft are a work of art.

Good luck on the upcoming season.
